Absorber cooling pad 430g (4 x 3 cells)
In their unactivated state, absorber cooling pads are very flat "sheets", divided into individual cells, each of which is filled with superabsorbent granules. When delivered unactivated, the “sheets” are extremely space-saving when stored. They can be activated as needed via water bath. After less than 2 minutes, the chambers of the absorber cooling pad will be filled completely with water.
Functional description:
The absorber cooling pad has a smooth foil side (advertising print possible) and a soft paper-like side. To activate, simply place the cooling pad in water with the paper-like side down. Activation begins immediately upon contact with water and ends after less than 2 minutes when the cooling pad no longer absorbs water. The absorber cooling pad is ready for immediate use. Dry off excess water or let it dry on its own. Once water has been absorbed, it can no longer escape through the special membrane. Even under pressure, water no longer escapes (see example picture with finger pressure). The cooling pad can be frozen directly. The phase change happens at; approx. 0°C and the ice pack should be frozen in the freezer compartment at approx. -18°C for at least 12 hours to achieve the best cooling effect. When frozen, the chambers are hard and inflexible, similiar to frozen water. On the other hand, the bars between the individual cells give room to maneuver. This means that the cushions can also be bent around refrigerated items.
